Back your friends, or bet against them.
Exchanges were a race. Now you can put your stock on it: back a friend to finish a task, or bet that they won't.

Everyone's day, side by side. Back or bet against any task that hasn't started yet. - Back a friend (Long, in the app) if you think they'll do it: when they tick it off, you make half what they make. Bet against them (Short) if you think they won't: if it's still undone at the end of their day, you make half what it costs them. Call it wrong and the same amount comes off your stock.
- Up to six bets a day. You can bet on a task until it starts (six in the evening if it has no set time), and the bet settles the moment it's ticked or when their day is over.
- See who's betting on you. Your own day shows who has backed you and who has bet against you, which is a strong reason to get things done.
- No real money. Everything is your Ritual stock, and you choose whether friends see your task names or just "a task".
- Exchanges on a phone now come in four sections: Market, Long & short, News and Details, with the latest four headlines and an All news page.

The opening bell, the closing bell and a weekly report.
Markets open and close at the same time every day. Now your day does too: a minute to set it up in the morning, thirty seconds to close it at night.

The opening bell, the closing bell and the weekly report. - The opening bell (about a minute): yesterday's close, anything that came back, then picking today's promise from your list, with how much time is free and a time for each task.
- The closing bell (thirty seconds): tick off what's done, decide what happens to the rest after midnight, and see where the day closes.
- A weekly report every Sunday: the price and each day's move, tasks done, focus time, what you earned and lost, your best day, the habit that held, time spent on each goal, and one thing for next week, pinned to the top of your list. It's also a picture you can share.
- Placeholders for lunch, travel, a commute or a break: they hold time on your calendar without counting as work, so your day looks the way it really is.

3.3
Tasks and ideas, each with one job.
With a real calendar in place, the Tasks page and the brain dump were starting to overlap with it. Now each has one clear purpose: Tasks is your to-do list, and Ideas is where the bigger thinking waits.

Tasks on the left, Ideas on the right. - One list for everything to do, in three groups: Today, This week and Later.
- Today is a promise. The list is free. Only today's tasks count towards your stock. Anything else on the list costs nothing until you move it into today or drag it onto a day.
- Nothing quietly disappears. Unfinished tasks come back the next morning for you to decide on. After three times, Ritual asks you to do it today, make it smaller with a fifteen-minute first step, or drop it.
- Quick add reads plain words: "gym tomorrow 6pm 1h", "essay by fri" or "learn guitar someday" all land in the right place.
- The brain dump is now Ideas: a gallery of cards on shelves you name, like business ideas, hobbies or money. Drag ideas between shelves, and one tap puts an idea on your list when it's time to act on it.

Your share price on your Home Screen.
Ritual now reaches you when it isn't open. Your price, the block you're in and the rest of your day sit on your Home Screen, and notifications arrive with the app closed.

The medium widget, and the notifications Ritual sends. - Home Screen widgets in small, medium and large: your price with a line of today's moves, the block on now with a live countdown, the whole day as a strip, and rings for tasks, habits and focus.
- Lock Screen widgets too, for a glance without unlocking.
- Tap the widget to add a task. Type it the way you'd say it ("dentist tomorrow 3pm") and it's on your list next time Ritual opens.
- Notifications that arrive with Ritual closed: the opening and closing bells, the start of each block on your calendar, reminders, and the weekly report on Sunday evening.
Also in this updateProper accounts you can sign in to on any device, a short set-up after signing up (your first habits, your morning and evening nudges, installing the app, your friend code), a first-run tutorial, and Settings behind your picture.

3.1
A full calendar, so you can close the other one.
Ritual's calendar used to cover today. Now it covers every day, forwards and back, with repeating events, so it can replace the calendar app you've been keeping alongside it.

The week view, with Google Calendar events in blue. - Day, Week and Month views that roll as far forwards or back as you like.
- Repeating events: every day, every weekday, weekly, every two weeks, monthly, yearly, or your own pattern. Change one day of a series, or that day and every one after.
- Plan any day ahead. Every event becomes a real task on its day, so it counts on your stock like anything else.
- Look back at any past day: what you did and when, the habits you hit and missed, your focus time and how the day closed. Tap a task to see it exactly as it finished.
- Google Calendar alongside your plan, read-only, so lectures and meetings sit next to your tasks.
- Quick to add: tap an empty time or New, with places (and a map link) and notes on any event.

- Invites by code or link, and demo players to practise against.
Also in this updateDay streaks that multiply your gains (x1.1, x1.25 and x1.5), recovery days so one bad day doesn't undo weeks of work, habit sizes (Quick, Steady and Big) that are the same for everyone, and habits with no set time.
