Is Ritual a habit tracker, a to-do list or a planner?
All three, connected. Ritual combines a habit tracker with streaks, a to-do list, a time-blocked daily planner, a focus timer, a brain dump and goal tracking in one app, and they all share the same data.
How is Ritual different from Notion?
Notion is a flexible workspace that you design yourself. Ritual is ready to use from the first day: your habits, tasks, calendar and goals are already connected, so there are no templates or databases to build before you start.
What is the share price in Ritual?
My Stock is a running value of your effort in pounds. Finished tasks add their time at £20 an hour, habits add £4, £7 or £10 depending on their size, and missed habits and unfinished tasks take some of it away. Close up days in a row and your gains are multiplied, up to x1.5 from seven days.
What happens if I have a bad day?
Your streak gets one chance. If a day closes in the red, the next day is a recovery day: make at least that much back, from habits or tasks, and your streak carries on. Fall short and it starts again.
Can I compete with friends?
Yes, on an exchange. Up to five people list their stocks side by side, each under a ticker they choose, and everyone starts level on the same open day. You see one chart that moves live through the day, the standings and each other's streaks, and a ticker shows what everyone has ticked off, by name or just as "a task" if you'd rather keep it private.
Does Ritual work with Google Calendar?
Yes, read-only for now. Paste your calendar's private iCal address into Settings once, and your events show in blue on Today beside your own plan, for any day, back or ahead. Turning an event into a task, and sending your tasks to Google Calendar, are on the way.
Does Ritual work offline?
Yes. Ritual installs like an app on your phone and laptop, works with no signal at all, and keeps your devices in sync when you're back online.
When can I get Ritual?
Ritual isn't on the App Store yet. Its beta opens in small batches first, and the waitlist hears about places before anyone else, then about the App Store launch. Waitlist members also get a founding price, lower than at launch, for as long as they stay subscribed.
