The start line
Everyone starts level
Pick an open day and every stock restarts at £50 on it, under a ticker its owner chooses. Someone who joined last week races someone who's used Ritual for a year on equal terms.

Exchanges
Everyone starts at £50 on the same day. From there, the chart moves as each of you gets things done.

Staying consistent on your own is hard, and it gets easier when a friend can see how you're doing.

Live
Each friend's line is drawn right up to now, so a tick at 9am shows straight away and eases down as the day goes on. The standings rank everyone on where they are at this moment.

Long and short
Go long on a friend's task if you think they'll do it and short if you think they won't. Long wins half what the task is worth, short wins one and a half times that, and bets close when the task starts.

The paper
Every morning the paper writes up yesterday's trading, naming what everyone actually got done. A live wire carries the news through the day.

§How it feeds your priceMy Stock
Your line on an exchange is your own price, moved to start at £50 on the open day. The exchange keeps its own streak, which replaces your personal streak bonus while you're racing.

Joining a friend's exchange is always free. On Free you can host one exchange at a time, and Plus lets you run up to twelve.
Their line is still drawn up to now from their last tick, easing down with the same decay their own price has.
Up to six a day. If a friend takes a task off their day before it settles, the bet is void and nobody wins or loses.
